What You Will Be Doing:
About the Job:
Hey there! We are looking for a friendly Customer Service
Representative (CSR) to join our team at Wausau Supply Co. (WSC).
If you love helping people and providing world class customer
experiences, this is the job for you! You will be part of the go-to
team for our customers, making sure every interaction is
top-notch.
What You'll Do:
* Interact with many customers, answering calls, emails, and web
chats
* Understand what customers need and offer helpful solutions from
our portfolio of building materials products, for home exterior
projects.
* Enter customer orders and offer consultation on complementary
products.
* Explain products in a way that is easy to understand.
* Work with other departments to give customers a smooth
experience.
* Use all the tools at your disposal to solve problems and learn
new things.
* Negotiate prices and delivery options to keep customers happy and
loyal.
* Follow our procedures to keep things running smoothly.
* Hit performance targets for quality and quantity.
* When things are slow (winter months), gain additional skills by
assisting with projects in Customer Service and other areas like
eCommerce, HR, IT, Marketing, Production, etc.

Education / Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 2 years' experience in a call center or other customer facing
role
Work Environment:
* Our call center is open Mon-Fri 6am -7pm, and our busiest times
of day are 7am-5pm
* You'll be working full-time (40 hours/week) with an assigned
shift based on business needs. Most shifts range between 7am and
5pm
* Ability to work in the office at a desk, taking incoming phone
calls and emails
* Ability to situationally work extended workdays during peak
customer volume periods
* Willingness to help in other departments during slow times
Reporting To:
* Customer Service Supervisor or Manager
